Happy Birthday
Royal Ambassadors

Celebrating 100 years of mission involvement for boys

Did You Know?
The Royal Ambassadors exist today because of a vision of the Baptist WMU (now Women on Mission). It was Miss Fannie Heck, an active member of the Woman's Missionary Union, who was challenged by the possibility of boys united for the sake of missions. She began to make definite plans for the organization and in October 1907, a "Committee On Mission Work for Boys" was appointed by the WMU with Miss Heck as chairman. In May 1908, WMU adopted the recommendations of the committee and began promoting a boy's missionary organization. It was known as The Order of Royal Ambassadors and included in its membership boys aged 9 through 16. The first chapter of Royal Ambassadors organized after the 1908 meeting in Goldsboro, N.C.

Its time to celebrate!
Royal Ambassador Week is November 4th -10th and Royal Ambassador Day is on Sunday, November 4th. During this time we will celebrate the many contributions of this organization over the past century as well as recognize the current activities of North Cleveland Baptist's Royal Ambassador chapter.

Our Children's Mission programs are hard at work.
The Royal Ambassador's Bible and a Buck Campaign is still under way. Bring Bibles that you are no longer using, place a buck inside to help cover shipping and assist in our effort to get God's Word to English speaking people all around the world.

Our Girl's in Action chapter completed their "Walk-for-World-Hunger" on Oct 20th. All the money pledged for this worthy cause will be used to help fight world hunger. Thank you for your support.
Its time for FUN!!!

Royal Ambassadors and Girls in Action are invited to the Bradley Baptist RA/GA Associational Hayride on November 9th. Parents are also invited. We will meet at Hobby Lobby at 6:00 pm and will go to the Moore farm for the hayride.
