Education Ministry
Sunday School - 9:45-10:45 a.m. Current Adult Study: "Believer's Handbook"
Beginning in December: "The Savior of Christmas"...The celebration of Christmas can be fraught with frenzied busyness, financial distress, and sometimes just pure depression or, it can be, a time of coming to grips with our tremendous worth to God Almighty and the depth of the love that He has for us. Join us for Sunday Bible study as we take a fresh look at the eternal significance of Christ's birth and the wonderful difference that it can make for us- here and now. The greeters in our Welcome Center will be honored to assist you and your family in finding a warm welcoming fellowship where we can explore God's Word together.
Men's Ministry... Our Baptist Men on Mission have a place for you, a place where you can use your practical skills and talents for the glory of God and the assistance of those in need. Put to use your carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, administrative, or other skills in local projects or disaster relief efforts. Join us on Saturday January 12th for our quarterly breakfast as we enjoy a traditional country breakfast, good fellowship, and a briefing on upcoming activities. We begin at 8:00 am in our annex. Bring a friend, there is no cost and you do not need to be a member to participate.
Missions Activities... Dec. 2nd - 9th Week of Prayer for International Missions
December 16th "Racin' for Lottie"- Our Royal Ambassador chapter is sponsoring an RA Racer event to raise money for International Missions. It is a blast - we have divisions for children and adults. Get a kit, find sponsors, enjoy the competition, but especially help support the SBC's foreign mission activities. As an added bonus, mid way through the event, our BMOM Director and the Pastor are having a best 3-of-5 "pink slip" winner-takes-both-cars competition- don't miss this.
Plan Now- Adult and Older Youth Mission Trip... Rebuild trip to Gulf Coast area June 1st-7th 2008. Use your skills to help those still suffering from the effects of hurricanes in that area.
