TEACHER APPRECIATION BREAKFAST - Sunday, May 18 at 7:45 a.m. at the Holiday Inn.


GRADUATE SUNDAY - We will be honoring our graduates this Sunday in the 11:a.m. service. We are proud of your accomplishments.


BAGGAGE CLAIM - The drama team will be presenting a 60 minute drama on Sunday evening, May 18 beginning at 6:00 p.m. The play is meant to be an outreach tool, so plan on coming and inviting your unchurched friends to come with you.

SCRAPBOOKING NIGHT - Friday, May 23rd will be the last Scrapbooking Night before summer. Join us in the Annex and bring your scrapbooking supplies, pictures, and a snack to share. We will be here from 6 p.m. to midnight. We're going to have lots of fun and door prizes! Let Amanda know if you plan to come. The next Scrapbooking Night will be August 22.

MEMORIAL DAY WEEK-END PICNIC - We will be having our Annual Church Picnic at "The Shed" next Sunday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m. Paper goods and ice will be provided. We are asking you to provide pre-made sandwiches, side dishes, desserts, and drinks. We will have an old-fashioned sing after the meal. There will be benches to sit on, but you may feel free to bring your own lawn chairs or blankets.

OLD TENNIS BALLS - The Childcare is in need of old tennis balls to go on the bottom of chair legs. If you have some to donate, bring them to the Childcare Office.

WOMEN ON MISSION MEETINGS - Evening meeting: Monday, May 19 at 6:30 p.m. Day meeting: Tuesday, May 27 at 1:00 p.m.

VBS FLYER DISTRIBUTION: We will be handing out VBS flyers at the ball park at Hopewell School on Mon., May 19 and Tues. May 20 beginning at 6:30 p.m.

OCOEE OUTREACH NEEDS...Containers of Gatorade or Powerade; paint brushes & rollers; Clorox bleach; Little Debbie's or similar snack cakes; small packs of crackers. You may bring these to the church office and we will get them to the Associational Office.

Bible Study - Changes Salon (on 25th Street across from Walgreen's) Tuesday, May 20th at 6:30 p.m. - Battlefield of the Mind by Joyce Meyer - to sign up, call Melissa Clayton at 255-2108.

VBS - June 16-20, 9 am to 12 noon...
Ages 4 years to 6th Grade (The grade you just completed in school.)
We still need a few workers. If you can help in VBS, please call the church office. We will also need monetary donations for refreshments, people to distribute flyers, and helpers for Family Fun Night on Friday, the 20th.

This Week in Worship

Sunday morning worship will include a message from Dr. Jay McCluskey called "What It Takes To Be Really Married" based on scripture found in Genesis 12:1-7. Special music will be presented by Scott Franklin. There will be a Future Generation Report by Lanny Tayloe. Our graduates will be recognized in the 11:00 a.m. service.

Sunday evening service will feature our Drama Team presenting a full-length drama called "Baggage Claim".
