Music Ministry

Hello and welcome to this edition of the Music Ministry News. Things are back in full swing and the church year is off to a good start. I am excited to be here to serve you and to lead you in worship every Sunday. Worship is my passion. I love to come into the presence of the Lord with His praise on my lips and joy in my heart. We have an awesome responsibility and privilege to lift the name of our God and King on high forevermore. Worship is not about style or people; it is about God. Worship is not a musical style as you would see on billboard charts or genre that you would see in a music store. Worship is not southern gospel; it is not contemporary. It is a condition of the heart; it is the words that come forth from our mouths lifting Him up and exalting Him, and we must come to God with our hearts prepared and lifted up to declare him King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Worship is about building a throne of praise and adoration for God to sit on so that He can inhabit the praises of His people. That should be our primary goal and focus not only on Sunday but every day of the week.

Once again, I love all of you guys. I hope that we will all learn and grow in Christ together and see the splendor of His holiness. I hope that you have a great week and a wonderful relaxing weekend. I look forward to seeing you on Sunday.
