Music Ministry
The music department is moving along. I had a brief meeting on Sunday with musicians who are interested in playing their instruments for church. We still have room if you are interested in offering your talent to the Lord. I am very excited about the opportunities that are coming open for new ministries in our church. I am looking forward to beginning rehearsals with both our praise band and orchestra. I am also looking forward to working with anyone interested in singing in a men’s ensemble. I am not yet sure when we will be meeting, but if you are interested and you want to be committed to this ministry, I would love to talk with you.
I am pleased to share how God is blessing our choir. We have had eight new people join the choir and we are so glad to have them with us. Anyone interested in joining the choir is invited to attend our rehearsals on Wednesday nights at 6:45 pm in the Sanctuary. We are currently working on music for our praise and worship festival that we will be doing on Sunday evening, April 10. I hope that this will be a time when we introduce new ministries such as the instrumental ensemble and praise band. This is a very exciting time in the life of our church and I encourage you to come along and join us in this time of growth and change.
