Music Ministry

Posted on April 27, 2005 ...

I would like to thank the Choir, Praise band, and Youth Choir members for their participation in the Praise festival we had a couple of weeks ago. It was great and for those of you who weren’t able to come, you missed a wonderful treat. Wasn’t it wonderful to see all the aspects of the NCBC Music Ministry work together to glorify our great and wonderful God? I cannot express enough gratitude for all of their hard work.

As we are looking toward the summer months, we are looking forward to family vacations and time off from work. As you are preparing your calendar for the summer, let me share with you a few things that are on the horizon for the music ministry. We are in full swing planning for the children’s music camp that we will be hosting this summer for children 1st through 6th grades on July 11-15. I would encourage anyone with children in these age groups to bring them to this exciting week of learning about God and Music. We will be using David as our model for worship and music. The Theme of the week is “Faith Factor” and we will have a program for the families to see what we have learned on Friday, July 15, at 6 pm. I would also like to ask the adults and youth to begin praying about where God can use you to help us out during this week. We are in need of helpers and teachers for the classes and choirs. If you would like to help, please contact me here at the office. If you do not feel like you can help lead a class or choir, please uphold us in prayer. Pray that this can be an effective time of spiritual growth for the children that are participating.

As always I pray that God bless you and pour out His Spirit upon you.
