Music Ministry

This week is VBS and our memory verse is Hebrews 12: 1-2 "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders, and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith." We are all in a race to the prize but we have assurance in this passage that we will reach our goal if we will keep our eyes on The Prize which is Christ Jesus. We are often easily distracted by the things of this world and by the sins that are easy to get caught up in. But, we can join the ancient throng in heaven, or the great cloud of witnesses, that have gone before us, if we will just continue to focus on God and His promises. He promised that He would never leave us nor forsake us, and this is just one of many promises that He has given. That is enough for me to know that as long as I keep moving toward Him, He will protect me. He will be our strength, and shield, and our mighty strong tower that we can run into for safety. I just wanted to encourage you today to keep you eyes focused on God, keep praying, and keep doing your devotions and Bible study and God will take care of the rest. Now that does not mean it will be an easy road, but we do know that we have no need to fear as long as God is on our side. God Bless,
