Music Ministry
Music Ministry Many times it may seem that the sacrifice that Christ made was "On A Hill Too Far Away" for it to make a difference or an impact in our lives today. But the truth is that Jesus' sacrifice is still as relevant to our lives today as it was 2,000 years ago. Sunday evening, March 16th the Sanctuary Choir will present the Musical "On A Hill Too Far Away." We invite you to come and join us as we reflect on the dedication and the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I am very excited to present the first full length play from our drama group. Sunday evening, April 20th, the drama ministry here at NCBC will be performing a 60 minute drama called "Baggage Claim". This is a moving and hilarious modern day parable about the D'Baquel family on vacation at a highly publicized Bed & Breakfast. They encounter it's many animated and goofy guests, and the quirky bell hop who keeps chucking the family's luggage into the canyon that lies below the hotel. This is a very moving and timely story for our world today. This play is meant to be used as an outreach tool. Please plan on coming and invite your unchurched friends to come along with you. You will laugh 'til your sides hurt and be moved by the real issues that the family is dealing with and by the sacrifice that the bell hop makes for the family in the end. Mark your calendars and plan on attending.
Based on the highly popular TV show "American Idol", "American Ideal" is about a bunch of young Christians competing to be the next big Super Star and about the lessons they learn along the way. Come and join us as the Young Musician Choir presents "American Ideal" Sunday, May 6th during the evening service. The Pre-school choir will also be singing the songs that they have been learning over the last year.
