Walk for Life, sponsored by New Hope Pregnancy Care Center, will be held October 20 at Cleveland High School. Call 479-5825 for more information.

Girls in Action Walk-A-Thon on October 20 to help alleviate world hunger. They will be asking for your support in sponsoring them. No donation is too small! If a GA asks for your donation, please consider it. Thank you in advance.

The Adult 4 Dept. is sponsoring its annual WORK DAY to minister to the senior adults of our church on Saturday, Nov. 3. If you are a senior adult and have a home or yard project that you would like to have assistance with on that date, please pick one of the forms in the windows and turn it into the church office (or see Stacy Phillips) as soon as possible.

R.A.'s are collecting Bibles and Bucks. If you have Bibles you are not using, we can send them to people in English speaking countries to read. Please place a dollar bill in each Bible. Place these in the green boxes located around the church and we will make sure they get where they need to go. Thank you.

J.O.Y. Group will be going to Edna's for lunch and Apple Valley on Thursday, October 18. They will meet in the Annex at 10:30 a.m. Please sign up , call the office or let Bill or Nancy know you are going by Sunday, October 14. (You will need to bring cash for Edna's.)

Motorcycle Dinner Ride - Mon., Oct. 15 - leave church at 5:30 p.m.

Please check the Annex for dishes that might belong to you.

The 2007 Picture Collage for display in the Annex during the holidays is being compiled. Anyone wishing to contribute pictures for this project, please leave "copies" of pictures with Susan Chittenden or at the office by October 28.

Our church will be participating in the Block Party on Wednesday, October 31 downtown Cleveland. If you would like to help at our booth, please sign up on the registration slip or call the church office. Again this year we will be providing complimentary portraits.

On October 18, 2007 the Bradley Baptist Association will hold its autumn meeting. If you would like to represent our church as a messenger at this gathering, please contact the church office

Deacon Ordination Worship Service begins Sunday evening, October 14 at 6:00 p.m. We will be ordaining Von Chastain, Darrell Jones, Adam Kirkpatrick, and Nolan Rumble.

You Are Invited...A class is being offered for New and Prospective Members or those wishing to know more about our church and its ministries on Sunday, October 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. If you would like to attend this class, please indicate on the registration slip or call the church office.

Hanging of the Green is a worship service centered around the songs and symbols of the Holiday Season. As the Sanctuary is decorated with sights and sounds, worshipers see how candles, greenery, poinsettias, manger scenes, and other objects become part of our Christmas traditions.
