ATTENTION SENIOR ADULTS: We will be going on a "Mystery Trip" on May 12th. The cost will be $27.00 and includes everything. You must sign up in the church office and prepay by Wednesday, April 16.

You are invited to a Bridal Shower in honor of Jan Dodson and Patrick Spangler from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 27th in the Annex. The couple is registered at Target, Dillard's, Lowe's, Southern Traditions, and Bed, Bath, & Beyond.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS - are available in the church office or they can be downloaded from the youth website, www.ncbcyouth.com. All parts are due back to the office by April 30.

WOMEN TO WOMEN MENTORING - Orientation Coffee - 2:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 13 in the Annex. A mentoring relationship can change your life. If you are interested in being a mentor or a mentee, please join us. Also, in order to be matched into a mentoring relationship, please keep Sunday, April 20th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. reserved for this purpose. (More details at Coffee)

"BAGGAGE CLAIM" The drama team will be presenting a 60 minute drama on Sunday evening, April 20th beginning at 6:00 p.m. The play is meant to be an outreach tool, so plan on coming and inviting your unchurched friends to come with you. (See Lanny's article this week for more information.)

GULFPORT MISSION TRIP - If you are planning on going to Gulfport, Mississippi June 1-7, please let Verlin Tucker know by Sunday, April 13. You may also call the church office or sign up on the registration form.

RENDER UNTO CAESAR - Spaghetti Dinner - Tuesday, April 22nd in the Annex, serving time to be announced. This is a fundraiser sponsored by the RA's and GA's and all proceeds go to Union University to help rebuild after a tornado heavily damaged their campus.

MOTORCYCLE DINNER RIDE - Join us on Monday, April 21 for this ride and fellowship with us over dinner. We will leave the church parking lot at 5:30 p.m. This would be a good time to invite your unchurched friends. See Verlin Tucker for more information.

ASSOCIATIONAL VBS TRAINING - Westwood Baptist Church - Monday, April 14 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

VBS LEADER MEETING - 5:00 P.M. on April 27th upstairs in the Education Building in Room 405.

Hanging of the Green is a worship service centered around the songs and symbols of the Holiday Season. As the Sanctuary is decorated with sights and sounds, worshipers see how candles, greenery, poinsettias, manger scenes, and other objects become part of our Christmas traditions.
