On Saturday, March 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., our church is honored to be hosting the Tennessee Baptist Convention’s Healthy Family Relationship Conference for this region. The Family Ministry leadership of our Tennessee Baptist Convention is conducting six of these conferences as a method of assisting individuals who are addressing a variety of family challenges.
Click here to view a listing of the specific seminars offered. As you see there are courses for every season of family life. Some tremendously gifted conference leaders are going to be facilitating these classes. Each session will last 90 minutes. Thus, participants will attend two seminars of their choice. (Brenda Harris, a former North Cleveland Baptist member who now works for the Tennessee Baptist Convention, is helping coordinate this event.)
As host church, I hope that our congregation will be well represented among those in attendance. Toward that end, our church is paying one-half of the $10.00 registration fee for each of our members who attend. Thus the cost to an individual is only $5.00 and a couple can participate for merely $10.00. Also, free childcare will be provided for NCBC families who need it. It will be WELL WORTH this small investment of money and time. All we ask is that you let our church office know in advance that you will be attending. You can call to make your reservation (476-8524) or mark the appropriate place on this Sunday’s Worship Registration form.
I strongly encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity. Simply stated, if you have a family, there will be something beneficial for you here. Healthier families will bring about a healthier society and church. The attention we give toward strengthening our homes is one of the greatest investments we can make with our lives. See you there.
