A special thanks is extended to the dozens of people who helped with our church?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s booth at the 2005 Cleveland Block Party. Extra appreciation goes to ?¢‚Ǩ?ìKernel?¢‚Ǩ¬ù Joe Cannon, David ?¢‚Ǩ?ìPoppy?¢‚Ǩ¬ù Godfrey, and Larry ?¢‚Ǩ?ìRedenbacher?¢‚Ǩ¬ù Sharo for the hours they gave at the church preparing so much popcorn in advance for us to give away. Gratitude also is sent to Clarence Nease for securing cups for this ministry. When all was said and done, we popped and distributed over 200 pounds of popcorn in over 6000 servings! (And we could have given away even more!) Our popcorn was more popular than Little Richard!
Having a ministry presence within our community is vital to our church?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s identity and mission. We made a positive contribution to the Block Party and affirmed our church?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s image and reputation to those in attendance! Plus, thirty homes shared their name and address with us to receive our Special Holiday Edition Evangel coming out in a few weeks!
As we now transition more into our holiday schedule, note the dates and times of these events and programs.

I look forward to talking Sunday about a very important question Jesus asked! It is good to be your pastor! Jay
