Pastor's Page
For several years my children have been approaching and crossing the age of entry level college students. Therefore, the McCluskey Mailbox is routinely filled with brochures, cards, flyers and other college admission promotions. A wide variety of colleges and universities have sent us slick, colorful mailings each stating why their school is just the right fit for our children. (Although I am still curious of why my sons received those brochures from the college that is exclusively for females.) I discovered also that once your child gives a hint that he is interested in a particular school, the amount of mail from that institution quadruples! Admission office materials routinely highlight a school?「どィび「s unique assets such as location, size, cost, facilities, values, and faculty. Their hope is that potential enrollees are looking especially for these particular qualities.
I wonder what exceptional features of our church could be used to promote North Cleveland Baptist as a potential good fit for those folks who are seeking a new church home. The question led me to put together this partial list of positive NCBC qualities.
Location: Situated on a major thoroughfare, North Cleveland Baptist is accessible within a short to moderate drive for everyone in Bradley County.
Size: Our church remains within a size where people can recognize every active participant?「どィび「s face and name. Our numbers also allow a lower ratio of church members to church leaders. In other words, there is more personalized attention.
Programs: North Cleveland Baptist is large enough to provide a full array of Bible study, music, mission, and discipleship ministries for all ages.
Staff: Without overly calling attention to myself, one of our most rare qualities is having a pastor with a tenure of over 19 years. In addition, both ministerial and support staff offer sacrificial and quality work on behalf of this congregation.
Diversity: The North Cleveland Baptist family includes children, youth, young adults, median adults, and senior saints! Each Sunday is like a family reunion because?「どィャカ that is what it is! Celebrating our diversity we sing contemporary chorus alongside of ancient hymns.
Perhaps you can think of more strengths worth promoting! Tell someone about our church today. We may be just the kind of place for which he or she is looking. Jay
