The familiar Christmas Carol describes a Silent Night. The beautifully simple melody conveys an atmosphere of quiet holiness at the wonder of God?「どィび「s arrival into our world. And while the night of Jesus?「どィび「 birth may well have been silent, we should not be silent about this night and its special place in our faith.

People in general are more open to spiritual things around the holidays. This time of year provides a special opportunity for us to share Christ with our unchurched friends, family, and neighbors. Some simple things you can do to share the message of Christmas include?「どィャカ.

?「どィャカputting a Christmas message on your voicemail.
?「どィャカtalking to coworkers and friends about Christmas traditions.
?「どィャカsending Christmas cards that display the true meaning of Christmas.
?「どィャカinviting coworkers or neighbors to the holiday events in our church.

Of course, one of our church?「どィび「s best events is our Christmas Eve Silent Candlelight Communion Service. While it is a meditative time in which we worship in silence, we should not be silent about it.

During our presence at October?「どィび「s Downtown Block Party we gathered over 450 email addresses of local residents. Next week, each of these people will receive an email inviting their presence at our Christmas Eve Service. I pray that among the recipients will be people who are looking for a church to attend Christmas Eve.

Will you invite someone? Don?「どィび「t be silent about this night! Jay
