Pastor's Page
What a wonderful day we shared last Sunday in our celebration of the resurrection! The 40 or so hearty souls who braved the cold and gathered on Hardwick Hill were blessed with the sight of a beautiful sunrise. Bible Study attendance was among our highest in recent months. Over 550 people gathered in our two morning worship hours. The music was beautiful and the responses to the alter call were inspiring. It is such an exciting time to be a part of our church family. Thanks be to God for what He is doing in, through, and among us.
This indeed is one of the most exciting seasons in my tenure as your pastor. And there is more still to come. Building upon our Sanctuary remodeling and the affirmation of Easter, our focus now turns to the completion of our For a Future Generation Campaign. Numerous upcoming events are deserving of your participation:
?ヌャ? This Sunday evening?「どィび「s worship service will feature a prayer vigil including several seasons of prayer.
?ヌャ? Following Sunday?「どィび「s evening worship, a simple information meeting in the Annex will provide an overview of our campaign, explain our building designs, and answer any question you may have.
?ヌャ? On Wednesday night, April 25, a special Prayer Labyrinth will be arranged in the Annex. This prayer walk experience will be a meaningful and personal time of reflection and dialogue with God. Allow between 20 to 30 minutes for this spiritual encounter. You can begin anytime between 6:00 and 9:00 p.m.
?ヌャ? Finally, our Celebration of Generations will take place at Cleveland High School on Sunday Morning, April 29 starting at 10:00 a.m. (See Lanny Green?「どィび「s article on the next page for more information.) I cannot over emphasize how important it is for you and your family to be in attendance. See you there!
It is an honor to be your pastor. Jay
