I would like to congratulate all of our high school and college graduates for a job well done! We are very proud of you and we pray for you as you enter the next phase in your lives. With graduations upon us that can only mean one thing… summer is just around the corner! We have a full and exciting summer planned and I wanted to take this opportunity to remind you all of some important dates and costs. 1) Senior Trip- this will be May 26-28. The cost is $60. We will be going to the Cedar Point Theme Park in Sandusky, OH. The deadline for signing up for this trip is Sunday, May 16. 2) VBS- these dates are June 7-11. We need more students to volunteer to help out and be a part of VBS this year. Please come and join us this week and invest your life in the children of our church. 3) Florida Camp- this will take place June 20-25. The cost is $150 in May and $160 in June. For chaperones it will cost $100. If you are interested in going to Florida Camp as a student or chaperone please contact me and let me know. More details will be announced as we draw closer to camp. 4) World Changers- this is going to happen July 17-24. The cost will also be $150. It’s never too soon to let me know if you plan to go on this mission opportunity, or to pay up, so don’t hesitate. Again, more details will be available as we get closer to the time of this trip. 5) End of Summer Trip- the week before school starts we will go to Atlanta and hit Six Flags and probably White Water too, so stay tuned. I look forward to a great summer of growth and fun. I hope you will be a part of these opportunities. There will be other, smaller events throughout the summer weeks that I will announce as the summer progresses. Just be ready and on the look out for Thumpin’ Thursdays! They’re coming soon! Also just about every Wednesday and Sunday night we’ll be hanging out at local restaurants around town. All are welcomed and encouraged to join in this fun. It’s going to be a great summer! |
