Student Ministry
I can hardly believe that it’s November already! I’m not sure how our students feel, but for me this semester has flown by. Regardless, there are still a few things to do with the Student Ministry before the winter comes.
The first item is our Third Day concert. As of right now I have two tickets left at $25 a piece. Once they are gone, they’re gone. For those who have purchased tickets, we will be leaving the church parking lot at 6:00 pm Friday, November 12. The concert begins at 7:30 pm, so we should be home around 11:30 pm. It’s going to be a great time and I’m so glad so many students have signed up to participate.
On Sunday, November 14, we will have SNAC, which stands for Sunday Night After Church. We are going to go bowling together at Galaxy Bowl. We’ll leave after the evening worship service and be finishing up around 9:00 pm. We will take a church van so parents can either pick their child up at the Bowling Alley or back here at the church. Students bring around $10 for bowling and any snacks you might want to purchase.
Finally on Wednesday, November 17, at 6:15 pm will be our Pizza Night for the month. We will be celebrating Thanksgiving Youth Ministry Style! It’s going to be a great time. Be sure to come and invite a friend or two.
Thanks to all the students who came and participated in the costume contest last week. It was a blast. Be looking in the mail for a new monthly newsletter I am producing. Stay tuned for more events and things to come for the winter and new year.
