Student Ministry
February is going to be a great month in our Student Ministry. We’ve got some big events planned that I hope you will participate in and be excited about. The biggest is Disciple Now. This year the theme is ENCOUNTER: Listen, Pray, Obey. The dates are February 25-27 and the cost is $40 per person. Be sure and mark D-Now on your calendars and plan on being there. Remember our goal is 40 students that weekend, so invite your friends.
On February 11, our Senior High girls are going to have a “Ladies Night Out!” It will be here in the Annex, beginning at 6:00 pm. My wife, Joni and Emily Lynn are planning some great stuff for our girls and I know it will be a lot of fun. Senior High girls remember this date and invite your friends. There is no cost for this event.
Finally, throughout the entire month of February on Wednesday nights, we will be exploring the confusing, but wonderful world of LOVE. Each Wednesday night will have a different emphasis. February 2, will be “Love: God’s Way”, February 9, will be “Sex: Can I Say that in Church?”, February 16, will be “Dating: Uh… Will You Go to 6:15 With Me?”, and February 23, will be Pizza Night. Be there for each night as we look at what the Bible says about these important topics! See you soon!
