Student Ministry
As I type this it is Friday afternoon July 15, and we are hours away from leaving for our World Changers mission trip to Smithfield, NC. When you get the chance to read this we will either be in North Carolina working away, or already safe and sound and back home in Cleveland. Either way, I hope that you will take a moment to pray for us as we travel and serve the Lord in another community.
As you pray, remember these individuals who are on the trip: Jonathan Barrow, Stephen Barrow, Ashley Daniel, Katie Hamilton, Charlie Hysinger, Luke Littrell, Jessica Mason, James McCluskey, Nathan Randolph, Scott Strawbridge, Heather Teague, April Wills, Joni Wiltshire, Kyle Wiltshire, and Brooke Ziegler. Pray that God gives us strength and endurance as we are on mission in Smithfield.
When we get back the last events on our calendar will take place. On Sunday, July 24, we will have our final SNATT of the summer and we’ll see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (PG). Thursday, July 28, will be our last Thumpin’ Thursday of the summer. We will be going over to the Rumble’s house to swim and hang out. There is no charge for this event. Finally, on Saturday, July 30, we will be going to Six Flags for our End of Summer Trip. The cost is $20. We will leave the church at 8:00 a.m. and be back by 9:00 p.m. that evening. See you when we get back from the mission trip!
