Student Ministry

Right now I am typing this article from room 319 of the Holiday Inn Express in Nashville, TN. Why am I typing this from Nashville? Because Joni and I, seven of our college students, and 18,000 other college students from around the world are at a college retreat called ?��Ǩ?�Passion?��Ǩ��. We are having a great time and God is blessing us with His goodness.

You might ask, "How did we get here?" Well, the answer is twofold. First, by van. Second, we are here because of the goodness of God and the generosity of many of our church members. Throughout the month of December I made visits to our adult Sunday School departments and asked for any financial assistance folks could offer to make this trip more affordable for our students. Our church stepped up in a huge way. So much was given that our students only had to pay a small deposit to cover the costs.

I would like to thank our church members who contributed to make this experience possible for our college students. We are incredibly thankful and will contact you in the near future about how we would like to further show our appreciation. With much love, grace, and appreciation from the Passion Conference in Nashville, Kyle, Joni, Amanda, Ashley, Cara, Jessica, John, Nolan, and Sarah Beth.
