Student Ministry
Disciple Now 2006 has come and gone and it was an amazing weekend! I have so many people to thank, because events like this can?「どィび「t happen unless a whole lot of folks selflessly give of themselves and offer their time.
I would like to thank our Host Families for giving up their homes for the weekend. They are Sam and Patsy Bettis, Junior and Kristi Burke, Dana and Janelle Martin, Hal and Stacy Taylor, and Laura Young. I appreciate your willingness to take in our students for the weekend and help them feel at home.
Many thanks go to the Sunday School classes that provided breakfast and lunch on Saturday. The classes that pitched in are Adult 3, Adult 4-Littrell?「どィび「s, Adult 4-Tuckers, the Homemaker?「どィび「s Class, the Hysinger Class, the Seekers Class, The Sunshine Class, and the Willing Workers Class.
Thanks so much to our office staff for all their work on the front end.
Special thanks go to the Wonder Women known as Jean Tucker and Jackie Rumble for working with the Sunday School classes and arranging meals for all the host homes.
Thanks to all the college students for pulling together and doing the odd jobs here and there. Thanks Ashley, Amanda, Jessica, Christina, April, Richard, Johnathan, Nolan, and Scott.
I would like to thank John Mark Moore for being available to run sound all weekend. Thanks to Emily Lynn for picking up the slack throughout the entire event.
Thanks to our group leaders who came from all over to play such a vital role in the success of the weekend. Thanks to Dawn Blackwell, Chris Davis, Craig Long, Dave Richards, and Wendy Wiltshire.
Thanks for Sam Bettis?「どィび「 Men 3 Class for cooking the delicious breakfast for everyone on Sunday morning. A special thanks goes to Clifford Plemons for coordinating this effort.
Thanks to all the students who came out and the parents who let them be a part of the weekend. Thank you church family for providing the financial means to pull off such a wonderful weekend.
Finally, I would like to thank my wife, Joni, who makes everything better with her enthusiasm and love. She?「どィび「s a better student minister than I?「どィび「ll ever be! Kyle
