Student Ministry

Posted on May 18, 2006 ...

Congratulations to all of our many graduates. This year we have folks graduating from high school, Associate?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s degree programs, Bachelor?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s degree programs, and even Master?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s degree programs. Your hard work has paid off, you?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ve run the race and kept the faith, now you are finished with this chapter in your education. I know I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ll probably never get to give a commencement address so here goes the best advice I know for graduates, ?¢‚Ǩ?ìEnjoy today, for tomorrow the real world beckons!?¢‚Ǩ¬ù

With June fast approaching and our mission trip to New Orleans only four weeks away, it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s time to start thinking about summer! For all going on the mission trip, please review the packet I gave you at the interest meeting, get your release form notarized and filled out, and prepare accordingly. I need to know for sure who is going on the mission trip by June 4. After that date it will be too late to sign up, so decide now and pay up. It?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s going to be an awesome, life-changing trip.

The time to sign up for camp is now as well. Even though our annual journey to Panama City is not until July 17, if you pay now it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s a little bit cheaper. If you pay before June 4 the cost is $160. If you pay after June 4 the cost is $170, so save yourself ten bucks and pay up today. Summer Camp in Florida is always one of the best trips of the year so I hope as many of you that can be a part of it will be there. It?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s going to be an exciting summer! - Kyle
