Student Ministry

Posted on June 22, 2006 ...

Last Sunday was a difficult day for Joni and me, but your loving support made it so much more bearable. Thank you for the outpouring of support and friendship you have shown us over the past three years. We will forever be grateful for the wonderful experience of living in Cleveland.

I wanted to assure everyone that even though Joni and I won?「どィび「t be there, summer camp is full steam ahead and is going to be an awesome experience. I hope you will go so that you can grow closer together and stronger as a group during this time of transition. Jason Cox from Michigan Avenue will shoulder more of the load this year in the planning and preparation of camp and I can?「どィび「t think of more capable shoulders. Also our pastor, Dr. Jay, is going to be heading up our group. There is no better man for that job. Make plans to be at summer camp, July 17-21. The cost is $170. You won?「どィび「t regret it.

We had an awesome experience in New Orleans last week on mission trip. I hope you will come on Sunday night to hear testimonies and see pictures of our journey. I hope we can convey to you just a tiny bit of the awe and amazement we saw in New Orleans. God is doing something extraordinary there in spite of the devastation and destruction of Hurricane Katrina.

Thanks again for your understanding. Leaving here is going to be one of the hardest things we?「どィび「ll ever do, but we go with the confidence that God is going before us, guiding us and directing us. We also go in faith that He has an even better plan for you than we all could ever imagine. We love you very much! - Kyle & Joni

Hanging of the Green
6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 30
Hanging of the Green is a worship service centered around the songs and symbols of the Holiday Season. As the Sanctuary is decorated with sights and sounds, worshipers see how candles, greenery, poinsettias, manger scenes, and other objects become part of our Christmas traditions.
