Student Ministry
Extreme Church Office Makeover: Student Ministry Edition is now completed! After lots of spackling, sanding, and painting, my office is looking much better. Although the office looks great, it didn?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t happen over night and it certainly wasn?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t an easy task. In comparison, as we begin to change some things in the Student Ministry, it won?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t always be easy and it won?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t happen over night, but I know it will certainly be worth the effort!
Renovatus is a Latin word meaning restore, rebuild or renew. Over the next few months, our theme for the Student Ministry is going to be just that. We are going to begin to restore and renew our relationship with Christ. We will also focus on relationships that need restoration, whether that is with parents, siblings, or friends and spend a lot of time on rebuilding our Student Ministry. This church has an amazing ?¢‚Ǩ?ìcore?¢‚Ǩ¬ù group of students. I hope to teach our students why we exist as individuals but also as a youth group and as a church. We will focus on Evangelism, Worship, Discipleship, Ministry, and Fellowship. Once we understand these principles and we start applying, God is going to do some amazing renovations in our lives and in our Student Ministry!
Speaking of changes and renovations, here are some things that are coming up. We have launched our new Student Ministry website; please visit us at www.NCBCYouth.com We will be adding a link to church website soon! If any students (10th ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú 12th ) are interested in Student Leadership formerly known as Youth Council, please fill out an application. You can get the application from our website. Go to NCBCYouth.com then Click on Inform, then Forms/Downloads. Also, beginning August 23, 2006, our Wednesday evening activities will begin at 6:30 pm. I can?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t wait to see you there! Nathan
