Student Ministry

Posted on May 10, 2007 ...

Have you ever been the recipient of a kind act or gesture that was not owed to you for any reason? If you have, then you can understand what it's like to experience an outpouring of generosity. In the last part of Luke 7, we read about a woman who was overcome with the love and forgiveness that only Jesus can give. Because of this overwhelming gift she gave back to Jesus all she could. She not only gave Him the praise He was worthy of, but she also poured out her most expensive and prized possession upon His feet, her Alabaster jar of perfume.

We, as believers and followers of Christ, have experienced an outpouring of generosity from Jesus. We have been forgiven much and our love for God and others should reflect that love and generosity. Will you consider being a part of the outpouring of generosity upon our community this summer? With much prayer, hopefully this summer, hundreds of people in our community will experience the love and generosity of Christ through His church.

In the coming weeks, look for more information and a calendar of events at www.AlabasterProject.com. You can also access this site from our Student Ministry web site www.NCBCYouth.com under the INFORM section. Also, look for our Student Ministry kiosk in the Vestibule and Welcome Center after each worship service on Sunday, May 27.

Much Love,
Nathan
