Student Ministry

This past Wednesday, we were able to participate in the See You After The Pole Rally. Each year, churches from around the county work together to plan this awesome event. I want to thank the church for joining our students in prayer.
This Sunday evening, we will participate in another countywide event that stresses the importance of purity. This event will take place at Grace Point Church and will begin at 6 pm.
Also, just to keep you updated as to what we are talking about on Wednesdays in our Student Ministry here at NCBC, this past month we have been looking at "Relationships." We have talked about relationships with parents, relationships with siblings, and next Wednesday we will look at relationships with friends.
In October, we will be focusing on "Influences: Are You Helping, Hurting or Observing?" Each week, we will look at how T.V., Music, Internet, Friends and Family have an effect on how we live our lives and the decisions we make.

November 16-18: Student Staff Out (Youth Workers Conv.)
November 30 - High School Retreat (Depart church @ 4pm)
December 1 - High School Retreat
December 2 - High School Retreat (Return around 4pm)
December 7 - Middle School Retreat (Depart church @ 4pm)
December 8 - Middle School Retreat
December 9 - Middle School Retreat (Return around 4pm)
December 31 - January 1: Lock-In (Time & Location TBD)

Just A Reminder About Sunday School Breakfast:

1st Sunday of each month - High School Boys
2nd Sunday of each month - 7th & 8th Grade Boys & Girls
3rd Sunday of each month - High School Girls
4th Sunday of each month - 6th Grade Boys and Girls
5th Sunday (if applicable) - Teachers and Staff

CAN YOU HELP US?

(We are in need of the following)

RIVER DAY: Boat Dock, Boats (Ski, wakeboard, pontoon, etc.), Jet skis, grill master to cook them dogs, and just fun people who love the H2O!

BIG BARN BLOWOUT: A barn! (One that can hold 40+ people); A square dance caller (yee-haw yall! Swing that partner round and round); A tractor, a trailer, some hay and someone to drive people around on it.
