What's Up With That Crazy Student Ministry?
Sunday school continues to thrive! In October our Student Sunday School department averaged over 50 in attendance each week. This is the highest monthly average the Student Ministry has seen in several years. I attribute this to the amazing team of teachers who passionately pour themselves into our students each week. My hats off to those individuals who are helping share the message of Jesus, thank you!
Discipleship meets Leadership this month! One of the things I look forward to every year is traveling to help lead DiscipleNOW weekends in South Carolina, Tennessee, and Alabama. I think I love it so much because I get to experience the weekend without having to worry about all the logistics. My job is simple: come, hang out with students, and share Jesus. This month six of our students from NCBC will travel to South Carolina with Don Littrell and me. I am excited about the chance I have to disciple these six students over the weekend. They will also be involved in some of the "behind the scenes" leadership planning that takes place. Please pray for us as we travel Nov.8th - Nov.11th.
Dream: a deep aspiration; a cherished desire. That's exactly what the Student Ministry Staff here at NCBC has for our students. We have a dream that they will experience Jesus Christ in a life altering way. The staff will be in Atlanta Nov. 16 - Nov. 18 attending the National Youth Workers Convention. This is an opportunity for us to gain new insight into Student Ministry and develop new strategies for helping students. We want students to realize the dream God has for them. Please pray while we travel!
