Student Ministry
FUEL your Faith! Over the next 3 months our Student Sunday School department will be studying other cults and religions. The Student Ministry is always looking for cutting edge tools to help teach our students more about their faith. Sunday Small Groups (Sunday School) is one of the best opportunities for students to "JUMP" in and learn more while developing a closer relationship with Christ. In our quest to deliver some of the most up-to-date and cutting edge material we discovered FUEL. Several years ago Lifeway launched a new series of material for Student Small Groups and it has been amazing. The theme of FUEL is "KNOW, OWN, KNOWN" and isn't that really what it's all about? We must KNOW Christ and His power, then we must OWN our faith and be committed to growing in Christ, and finally we commit to making Him KNOWN to the world around us! In order to reach others we must have an idea of their beliefs so we can be ready to combat the lies they've heard with the Gospel Truth of Christ. So, with that in mind over the next few months our FUEL material will focus on "Other Cults and Religions." I know this will be a great time for our students' faith to strengthen while giving them leverage when witnessing to others who are not yet followers of Christ!
FYI: SUMMER CAMP 2008 If you have not signed up and paid for Summer Camp please do so ASAP! Also, we are still in need of chaperones, teachers, kitchen help, etc. Please contact the Student Ministry Office if you want more information about how you can help! Baked goods are needed to help feed the campers and support staff. If you would like to bless these folks with your homemade goodies, please call Jackie Rumble at 715-8441. Your help will be much appreciated and enjoyed by all attending. Thank you.
